Why Should You Care About Google Reviews?
Google Reviews are very important to your business's ranking on Google. In fact, having a strong online reputations via Google Reviews is one of the top factors for your search engine optimization.
When it comes to Reviews, Google cares about:
- Your average star rating
- Your frequency of getting reviews
- Your engagement with reviews (ie Replying)
- Your overall number of reviews
- Freshness of photo content on your Google Business Profile (a sign of an active and engaged business)

How to get more Google Reviews in Zipper?
Connect your Google Business Profile
Go to Organization > Integrations > Google. Be sure to select the correct account and save.
Import your reviews via the Reviews tab on the left side menu
Select which reviews you'd like to add to your website.
Be sure to add a Reviews block to your site for these reviews to be added
Request reviews from the button in the top right
Select a customer already in Zipper to request a review from, or add someone new. Here is a good template to use:

Hi {{firstName}} - I hope you're doing well! I wanted to ask a quick favor. We're currently working on improving our website and online presence and are trying to get more Google Reviews (it helps with our site ranking).
Would you be open to taking 30 seconds and writing a review from the link below? It would mean a ton to us!!

When a customer clicks "Leave us a review on Google", they will be automatically taken to your Google Business Profile to leave a review.
